About
Originally from Réunion Island, Juliette Serrié began her classical percussion studies on the island before perfecting her skills in Monaco. Her career has included solo appearances with the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra.
The opportunity to study in the United States at the Sō Percussion Summer Institute came about thanks to a grant from the Princess Grace Foundation. After this experience on the other side of the Atlantic, she joined the percussion class at the Musikhochschule in Hamburg, Germany, continuing her studies at the Musikhochschule in Cologne.
Her musical repertoire ranges from classical to contemporary music, including musical theater, experimental music and improvisation. Keen to pass on her art, she now teaches in various music schools.
